Presidential Matters Update by Bill Morrow

Wednesday 2 June 2010, by Bill Morrow

I’ve asked to share with you the positive update of our spring worship tour team.

The Master’s College & Seminary 2010 spring worship team, ReGeneration, is in its last week of ministry. They have just returned from a very successful two-week trip to the Maritimes where they visited churches such as Quispansis, NB, Boom Road, NB, Lyttleton, NB and Halifax, NS (Faith Tabernacle). A highlight was leading worship to a gathering of over 500 teenagers at the Maritimes Youth Convention (Moncton, NB) on the May long weekend.

This week the team finishes their schedule with services in Ottawa and six churches in the Western Ontario district.

As we reflect on the tour, we continue to be thankful to God for:

• …the umbrella of protection that has been upon the team as they travelled over 10,000 miles. One flat tire on the trailer and a few road closures have been the extent of ‘unscheduled interruptions.’

• …the visitation of the Holy Spirit in services in which ReGeneration has participated. God sovereignly moved in one church even when, during the message, the power went out.

• …those who committed to be part of the prayer covering. Pictures of the team are on fridges and office walls all around Ontario.

• …the support we received from individuals and churches financially and in significant gifts-in-kind.

• …our partners such as the audio equipment company where we were pleased to work with an alumni of Master’s College & Seminary.

• …the pastors and congregations that opened their doors and invited us to minister in their setting and the multitude of people whose ‘at home’ hospitality was greatly valued.

• …the six faculty members who travelled with the team over the course of the six weeks.

• …the team, Scott Manuel, Krysten Lees, Joel Ettinger, Camille Chamberlain, Ryan Jedynak, Tim Conrad and Julia Emery, who endured a grueling schedule and hardships associated with a ‘road trip’ and yet still gave their very best to God every evening.

We believe that there have been many significant encounters with God during these weeks. We are delighted to have been part of this great endeavor. Thank you for the part you played!
